Heckrodt Master Naturalist Class
Develop a deeper understanding of Wisconsinâ natural world and the Fox Valley Region while earning your certification as a Wisconsin Master Naturalist.
Through this class you will:
Engage with local environmental organizations and develop skills that will allow you to contribute to these organizations as a volunteer.
Learn about the natural world through field experiences and guided written resources.
Explore wetland habitat urban wildlife the geological history of our surrounding area the water quality of our local waterways and how humans play a role in these ecosystems.
When: September 15th-20th 2025 (8:30 am-4:30 pm daily)
Where: Heckrodt Wetland Reserve 1305 Plank Rd. Menasha WI with near by field trips.
(Participants are responsible for their own transportation or coordinating ride shares to field locations.)
Fee: $300 to UW Extension which coordinates the Wisconsin Master Naturalist Program. Scholarships may be available by application. Registration includes all training materials. Food and lodging are not included.
