The Lee Murphy Nature’s for Everyone Scholarship Application

Lee Murphy was a dedicated Menasha school teacher and major volunteer for the Reserve. He was the original Heckrodt Volunteer Naturalist who taught many students the joys of nature. He has over a 1,000 volunteer hours at the Reserve.  Lee was a leader in the community who knew the importance of getting students outside and connected to their outdoor world. We are forever grateful for Lee’s contribution to Heckrodt’s mission and our community. The Reserve carries his legacy forward every day by offering scholarships to local schools for environmental education.

Scholarships are available to teachers or families who can demonstrate a need for financial assistance and have an interest in providing their children with an environmental education program. For more information contact Heather at [email protected].
