Gathering of families and community with pop up tent and picnic tables

Heckrodt Wetland Reserve provides programs for the greater community!

These programs offer a wide variety of topics (onsite and in the community) that are of interest to a broad age range from youth to adults. Heckrodt Wetland Reserve programs are developed by trained naturalists and are intensely hands-on and are designed to foster an ethic of environmental appreciation. Some programs are free of charge, while others will charge a nominal fee to ensure future program opportunities.

In response to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, most programming will be outdoors and at a limited capacity. These programs will be made available around a month or two before the program date. This will allow staff and volunteers the time to reimagine our mission based programming in 2021. Thank you for your continued support.
