Survival in the Snow with NEWLT

Join The North East Wisconsin Land Trust and Heckrodt Wetland Reserve for a winter survival experience! While learning more about how humans and animals handle the cold, you will be able to put your survival skills to the test with both shelter construction and fire building!

We will have activities for all ages, including:

• Fire building
• Shelter making
• Exploration with infrared thermometers

And more as we learn about how humans and animals handle the cold.

Location and Logistics:

This event will take place at NEWLT’s Harness Farm Preserve (1605 Breezewood Lane, Neenah, WI 54956)

Parking will be across the street at the Neenah town hall (1600 Breezewood Lane). The town will be providing us with access to the town hall for restrooms

This event is free and open to all ages.

We will cap participation at 40 participants.
